Four Weeks to Proficiency in Photography
Gain a Solid Foundation in Photography - We Simplify the Technical!
The "Four Weeks to Proficiency in Photography” is a four week long course with assignments to help seal the information into your brain. You’ll be taught which button to push or dial to turn as you learn how to shoot in the manual mode, use flash, metering modes, focus modes and more.
You’ll have daily assignments to help you really understand each lesson. This class is about the mechanics of photography, not the creativity, although your creativity will soar once you understand the technical aspects. The homework assignments tell you exactly what to do, step by step, so that when you go through the motion of changing your settings to change the effects, you’ll really start to understand what is happening. You’ll watch, listen and ACT for the best learning experience.
Our motto and our mission is to simplify the technical. We will show you exactly which button or dial to turn to change your settings. You will really start understanding the technical side of photography
Here is how it works:
Watch the recorded video once a week. Each video is two hours or less.
For the next three days, you'll have a daily homework assignment.
On the fifth day you'll have a quiz, which is more like a review to be sure you are understanding the concepts.
Don't rush ahead and watch the second video until you have done all the assignments and feel really comfortable with everything you've learned. Each video builds on the class before.
Take two days off to either catch up or practice.
The following weel, watch the next video.
Continue for the full four weeks.
Enjoy!

"This course and Peggy Farren are amazing. I took it last year and still go back to review the videos. I was only shooting in auto before her course, and now I shoot in manual and I am still getting better. I highly recommend this course!
